Aeromobil: Flying Car

 photo a1_zpsc0d3e460.jpg

You wish you have one don’t you? Over 70 years ago, Henry Ford said “Mark my word: A combination airplane and motorcar is coming. You may smile but it will come.” Maybe many people were laughing back then, but it is much different today. Actually a Slovakian company made Aeromobil 2.5 which they worked on for 20 years. This is their third version. It weights 450kg and can go up to 160km/hour on ground and 200km/hour in the air.

The technology is developing on every single field and Henry Ford was smart enough to predict that this will happen. Today pretty much everyone believes that in short future we will see a great aeromobil which many people will have and use. This Slovakian aeromobil fits to a standard parking places, its engine enables it to tank at any gas station and it is accustomed to road traffic and as a plane could both take off and land at any airport in the world. This current version Aeromobil 2.5 is a prototype of and it has big ambition to become a real “flying car”. The only part that is not that good about it is that it has capacity of only 2 persons. After 20 years of hard work the team came up with this model. We can expect flying cars to become something normal in our lives in very close future.

Pangkor Island, Malaysia

 photo malay_zps7250aeeb.jpg

Pulau Pangkor (Pangkor Island), translate as the “Beautiful Island”, located on the west coast of the Malaysia Peninsula, half way in the between Penang Island and Kuala Lumpur. It offers palm fringed beaches that reflected those long stretches of sand on the east coast. Unfortunately, the sea on this side of the peninsula is never as clear as it can be on the other coast.

Legend tells that once a Sumatran warrior fell in love with a beautiful princess, and to win her heart he sailed north to distinguish himself in battle. When he failed to return after many months, the princess set out to look for him. She searched high and low and upon reaching Pangkor Island learned the tragic news that he had died in a battle and was buried there. The villagers led her to the grave, whereupon, distraught and heartbroken, she climbed a cliff and flung herself onto the rock below. Pantai Puteri Dewi (Beach of the Beautiful Princess) is named after her. This beautiful legend brings thousands of tourists visit Pangkor Island every year.

Ferries run to several parts of the island all day until early evening. The ferry slides down the Dindings River with mangroves on one side and a huge navy base on the other, out of the kilometer wide channel into the Malacca Straits and the island of Pangkor lies directly ahead. The trip takes about 35 minutes. Here some hotel Pangkor Island Beach Resort is one of the luxury resorts in Pangkor Island. Besides, there are several budget hotels.

Traveling alone

 photo tra_zpsfa03793c.jpg

It might sound stupid and of course lonely but it can be fun actually. Many people are traveling alone and they of you who did it for the first time have great first impressions.
Why travel alone?

There are many benefits from traveling alone such as:

1. Solo travel can be the ultimate in self-indulgence; you can rest when you want and pour it on when you’re feeling ambitious.

2. You choose EVERYTHING! If you travel with someone, sometimes you argue about certain stuff. Well, there is nobody to argue now. So, you decide everything!

3. Probably you will save money. If you were traveling with your girlfriend, now you will definitely save less money.

4. Meet new friends. Wherever you go, you will easier meet new friends if you are alone than if you’re with couple of friends.

5. You will be more flexible. Some people find it easier to cope with unexpected setbacks and complications.

But also there are some downsides such as:

1. Your mistakes are only yours. There is nobody else you can blame. Everything bad that happens is only because of you.

2. Less safety. You are not that safe alone as you are with friends. So you must be very, very careful since there is nobody to watch your back.

3. You may experience moments of loneliness. This is especially for those who do it for the first time.

Traveling by bike and useful tips

 photo Leather-Bike-Bags_zpsebea772d.jpg

There are many reasons to consider traveling by bike. It’s good for the body and mind, bikes are better for the environment and you get to see the world at your own pace. In addition, you’ll save money that would otherwise have been spent on gasoline.
For beginners here are some useful tips:
1. Safety First. The most important aspect of traveling on your bike is to make sure you’re as safe as possible at all times. Check your helmet before you leave and check that it fits snugly but comfortably and doesn’t obstruct your view. Give your bike a once-over to see that all bolts are tightened, your brakes are working correctly and your bike changes gears smoothly. If you’re going to be riding at night, install a light on your helmet and/or bike to let drivers and other cyclists know where you are.

2. Don’t choose long destination. You are just not ready for it yet.

3. Wear Proper Clothing for Your Trip. It may sound like common sense but you’ll want to consult the weather forecast before you head out. If you forget to wear a jacket when traveling by car, you may hardly notice the unpleasantness during stops to look around. But when you’re exposed to the elements for hours at a time, you’ll wish you’d been more observant of Mother Nature’s plans.

4. Know How to Make Minor Repairs and Adjustments. The sound of air escaping a tire is one of the worst sounds a cyclist will hear. Flat tires are also quite common, so you should know how to change one. This basic knowledge will save you time and money.

5. Carry Your ID, Cell Phone and Money. You don’t want to have an accident and you don’t want to get stranded, but both unfortunate events can happen. If they do, you’ll want to be able to call for help, so bring your cell phone.

Spend and save money while traveling

 photo why-use-travel-agent-money-saving_23745_zpsfb75f8bf.jpg

Many people spend a lot of money when they decide to travel somewhere. Why? Well, traveling is expensive but a lot of people pay more than what they should. Why? That’s because people are focused on traveling, and they don’t really care about how much it costs. How you can travel by spending minimum money? If you read and do the next three things written under this, I guarantee you that you will save some money.

1. If you want to go to some destination and you want to go there by using an agency, check all agencies before choosing one. Some agencies offer the same cheaper than others. So don’t rush and choose the first one that offers what you like.

2. Don’t spend money if you don’t really need it. This rule applies for pretty much everything. Before buying something, ask yourself two questions. First, can I buy it cheaper anywhere else? Second, do I really need it? A lot of people are wasting money on buying things and souvenirs that after few years they will throw. So make sure you spend your money right.
3. Food and drink. If you go in another country or somewhere where you know the food is more expensive, you can carry some. If carry even for one single meal, you still saved some money.
