A Watch That Lasts

Famous athletes always have endorsements which range from sportswear to accessories. You would often see them in commercials featuring luxury watches which shows how special they are and the product they are endorsing. These are top-notch quality timepieces that have been around for decades even centuries. One of them is the Victorinox Swiss Army watch, which is one of the products manufactured and sold by Victorinox, a brand that has proven its worth and will continue to do so for many more years to come. Although they are known for their Swiss Army Knife, which is still being used by people worldwide, their watches are not far behind. They have diversified and proven their ingenuity by producing and selling clothing, fragrances, cutlery, and travel gear as well.

Victorinox Swiss Army watches are made from high quality materials and have passed the strictest tests that meet the standards of the Swiss watch making industry. They are produced according to criteria that prioritizes technical performance to optimize practical utility. As a way to celebrate Victorinox’s 130th anniversary, they have launched a new collection called INOX (French for stainless steel). The name is appropriate since this is such a tough, durable, and reliable watch that can withstand harsh elements and all weather conditions. It is designed and manufactured to defy different levels of stress such as shock, unusual vibration, and extreme temperature changes.

The INOX is definitely a timepiece that is made to last. It has passed all the battery strength tests which proves its power and durability. It has a 43 mm diameter reinforced stainless steel case, scratch resistant sapphire crystal with triple anti-reflection treatment, and is water resistant up to a depth of 200 meters or 660 feet (20 ATM). It has a single sealed dial, stamped indexes, and reinforced axis. The horns are protected against warping and solidified by a crossbar. The same goes with the crown and the crystal which are protected by an elevated bezel.

The INOX’s other features are luminous hour and minute hands and date window at 4:30. It is available in black dial, khaki green dial, and navy blue dial and has black rubber, khaki green, and navy blue rubber strap. It comes with an original “bumper” which is a removable protector composed of silicone and nylon that matches perfectly with the crown, the case and the back, and has the Swiss-made Ronda 7 quartz movement. Because of its compact and solid yet sleek design, it is the perfect watch for a man who is both stylish and rugged.
